All the key info about the Summer Card – please read carfully to avoid any surprises! .-)
VALIDITY:
The summer card is valid from 09.00 on the day of arrival and until 17.00 on the day of departure.
ATTENTION: In the high season July 15 – September 15, the ticket is only valid from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival! (Activation is electronic – no exceptions possible.)
Further restrictions during high season (July 15 – September 15):
- Boat trip: round trip with the MS Schmittenhöhe only once per stay, the crossing (MS Grossglockner) can be used as often as you like
- Kitzsteinhorn, Kaprun high mountain reservoirs cannot be used on the day of arrival (only on the following day) – the Maiskogelbahn is not affected
- Schmittenhöhebahn + TrassXpress cannot be used on the day of arrival (only on the following day) – not affected are cityXpress, Sonnenalmbahn, areitXpress
The free ascent to the Kitzsteinhorn is via Gletscherjet1-4! From the village center of Kaprun you can only reach the glacier via Maiskogel with the 3-K-Connection, for the 3-K-Connection you have to pay an extra charge of € 25 per adult / € 12.50 per child
ZELL AM SEE KAPRUN APP:
You can manage your Summer Card digitally using the Zell am See-Kaprun app! Even before you check in at the hotel, you can already load the card into your Wallet. Here’s how:Auch wenn ihr am Anreisetag noch nicht im Hotel eingecheckt habt könnt ihr die Karte ins Wallet laden – wie das funktioniert hier kurz erklärt:
1. Download the App & Create an Account:1. App downloaden + Account erstellen:
⚠️ The email address used in the app must match the one registered in our hotel system!
If you booked via booking.com, please send us your real email address,
as booking.com only shares virtual email addresses with us.
Everyone else should simply use the same email address where you received your pre-check-in email. You can add multiple cards to one Wallet and share them with your travel companions.
2. Complete Online Check-in:
The day before arrival from 11.00 a.m. do the online check in (comes in an email – so that we have all the data)
We need all names + dates of birth of the travel participants – the summer cards are personalized! (If something goes wrong you can also send us the data by mail or messenger)
3. Add Summer Card & Mobility Ticket to Your Wallet:
On the day of arrival from 09.00 a.m. (the mobility card is also valid from 9.00 a.m. in the high season, but the summer card is only valid from 3.00 p.m. as already mentioned).
