Austrian Ecolabel & European Eco Label

We have been proud holders of the Austrian Ecolabel and the European Eco Label since December 2024!
The Austrian Ministry of the Environment awards this distinction to companies that undertake to comply with many strict environmental criteria and have this monitored by independent bodies.

The Austrian Ecolabel

We carry this award as a visible sign of our commitment to the environment – but the people who are our guests and work for us are also extremely important to us. Together we take on ecological and social responsibility by:

• Give preference to environmentally friendly and regional products
• Using energy and water wisely
• reduce CO2 emissions
• Use renewable energy
• Avoid or separate waste
• train and motivate our employees
• promote the regional economy
• preserve natural diversity and cultural heritage
• Create offers for guests and the local population
• survey the satisfaction of guests and employees
• continuously improve the (environmental) quality of our operations
• Support guests in planning a sustainable vacation.

We would be delighted if you, as our guest, would support our efforts and also make an active contribution to a healthier environment for us and our children by:

• Close windows when the heating is switched on
• switch off the light when you leave the room
• Do not let the water run unnecessarily and press the WCSpar button
• Please report dripping taps or leaking WC flushes
• Lay towels on the floor for changing
• Please separate waste into the designated containers
• Enjoy precious food with appreciation and help to minimize food waste
• only smoke where it is permitted
• Give preference to public transport and bicycles
• Protect flora and fauna during excursions
