Go Green – our mission for a better world

The topic of “sustainability” is very important in our house – we are renovating our house bit by bit. In the last 3 years, we have already saved 150,000 kilowatt hours – the new photovoltaic system with 51 KW peak supplies a whole lot of electricity!

In addition, the heating/ventilation/heat recovery system was reinstalled in 2020 – 2023, the entire pool technology was renewed and some of the cooling and freezing systems were replaced.

We also focus on sustainability and regional products for breakfast – our bread is delivered fresh daily from the Unterberger bakery. We source our organic eggs from the Hintergaferl farmers in Bruck and the Thomannhof farm in Saalfelden. Mueslis and crunchies are produced locally in Hochfilzen by the company Biologon – sustainably and of course with the European Eco Label.

In the rooms you will find fluffy bathrobes – but for the sake of the environment we ask you to bring your own bathing shoes (there are of course some if you have forgotten them anyway…).

In order to protect our environment, we have decided to reduce the daily cleaning of the hotel rooms.
With this measure, we want to reduce the consumption of cleaning agents, water and energy and thus make a contribution to climate protection.
Of course, our ladies shake the beds every day, empty your garbage can and replace used towels. However, if you would like your room to be cleaned, you can request this at any time.

If you arrive by public transportation and have booked your room directly with us, we grant a 10% discount on the room rate!

Have you bought new ski clothing during your vacation? You are welcome to leave your old clothes with us – we will wash them and bring them to the Caritas Center Zell am See!
