Zell am See is the capital of the federal region "Pinzgau", located in the heart of the Austrian Alps, close to Austria's highest Peak, the "Großglockner" with 3.798 m.
Around 10.000 locals and 12.000 tourists live here in the peak season, enjoying the unique combination between the glacier, mountains and the lake.
The lake temperature in the summer is around 24 degrees Celsius and the average temperature during the day is around 22 - 28 degrees.
You can enjoy numerous sports and adventure activities around the area.

How to get there

Zell am See is a 2,5 hours drive from Munich Airport and approx. 1,25 hrs from Salzburg Airport (served by Lufthansa via Frankfurt).
Via Traunstein - Siegsdorf - Inzell you do not have to pay the Austrian motorway fee. The airport shuttle service is € 350,- one way from/to Munich Airport and € 160,- one way from/to Salzburg Airport (minivan fitting up to 8 people). We provide a free shuttle service from/to the golf course in Zell am See (5 minutes drive)
